I’ve just watched the Charlie Sheen 20/20 interview on ABC and you know what, I don’t think he’s as mental as people are making out.
Obviously the drugs is a massive no-no and something I strongly detest.
He has 2 girlfriends / housewives, they’re all open and loving with each other, why not?
He’s all about truth and has no problem admiting he is wrong.
He’s adamant the kids never get involved. Spot on!
He passed the drugs test, which made me laugh at the ABC woman.
He gets defensive when they ask about his parenting, what normal parent wouldn’t? Like he says, let’s not make his relationship with his children content for TMZ. Completely understandable.
He spouts random words / sentences. Agreed, that’s a little bit out there, but other celebrities like Russell Brand have been doing that for years, why have we never questioned them?
This quote stood out to me:
“Oh, I am the sum total of all my experiences, BS man!
You’re the sum total of what’s going on right now”
His work ethic seems superb, when talking about taking things to court, he specifically mentions THE STAFF getting their pay for the 4 cancelled episodes.
The nice environment is what everyone wants and having the big wigs there, who may only see dollar signs as opposed to creativity can be a downer. I’ve seen that happen in other job types in life. It’s not surprising he brought that up.
She questions him constantly about porn stars / prostitutes. He tells it straight, he wants the sex, he wants it from professionals, less chat, more action. What’s wrong with not wasting time with small talk if we all know where it’s leading? Not only in this scenario, but any life situation, cut the tip-toeing around and get on with it! Time is precious.
I wrote all the above as I watched the video.
I may watch the interview again tomorrow just in case I missed anything whilst tapping away, but yeah, that’s what I think..
There’s a reason for his success, different isn’t bad, sleep tight. :) xo
