A Quick Reflection Session…

Evening all.. So tonight is the first night since the music video went up (and probably for a month or 2 before that) that I’ve managed to sit down and take everything in.

Firstly, I’m really happy that after 3 years or so on YouTube, I’ve finally been given some kind of a break. My only fear though is that I feel like I’m going to fall as quickly as I’ve risen? It all seems a bit too good to be true.

I’ve noticed that on my channel / Facebook, people only really seem concerned with the Zelda videos and that’s it.. What will my channel offer or stand for after that?

The comment amounts on the Zelda videos exceeds the others by nearly double but all they are is lots of “lefty” or “righty“‘s which I LOVE becuase it’s one of the things that makes us unique but I also miss the conversations we used to have in the comments? How can I get that back?

Livestreams are where I’ve been happiest recently. I don’t know what it is about them, maybe the immediate reaction, the having other people around so I’m not just talking to a computer screen for 15 minutes in my small room, alone?

I’ve also been quite hesitant about the content going onto my channel.. I’ve been put off the idea of Portal 2 videos somewhat because people don’t want spoilers, which is fair enough but look at all the other commentators, they just post what they play and what they enjoy, right?

I was even hesitant about the livestream ones too.. I considered it “a risk”, is that right?

  • I don’t want to be limited to just Minecraft because when that quietens down, I could dissapear with it.. So how do I make that statement?
  • I want to re-connect with the earlier audience and make initial connection with the new people. (I feel the Facebook group does that to an extent)
  • I want to keep on enjoying what I do without any worries..

What do you think?

I’m really tired as I write this, so it could be complete nonsense..

Sleep well and I’ll see you for the Livestream tomorrow, BYEEE!!!!! [^_^] xx
